ABOUT ME

Christian Ribarich is a photographer, videographer and filmmaker based in Naarm (Melbourne). Christian is a film/movie enthusiast with a keen eye on practical effects, cinematography, direction and screenwriting - all hobbies explored on his YouTube channel where he deconstructs the works of various filmmakers in the hopes of one day directing films himself. Storytelling is a great passion of his, the work presented in his portfolio will reflect his connection to pop-culture and the emotion driven behind the works he loves to analyse.

Christian’s experience extends throughout his journey as a photographer posing scenes with Lego to tell stories, and more recently his work with cosplayers and models through his social media reach on Instagram and the RMIT Photography club.

Outside of Photography, he is a filmmaker currently working on a Horror documentary covering Melbournian interest in the Horror Movie community. Christian is also producing a short film romcom/parody inspired by Venom (2018), titled “Venom: Achieving Symbiosis”, which is a deconstructive commentary on parasitical, toxic romantic relationships as depicted through Eddie Brock’s relationship with Venom. The film, while lending itself to a fascinating metacommentary, is also its own standalone story featuring all new characters and a handmade puppet of Venom who will assume the role of his fictional counterpart.

Christian is available for photography and videography services via his contact page.
